The Framingham DTC operates a voter registration table and information booth at the Framingham Friday night concerts. The concerts are held on the lawn of the Centre Common at Edgell Road and Vernon Street.
Volunteers are needed for setup of the tent and information displays, to engage concert attendees’ interest in the literature, and to breakdown and wrap up.
Candidates and elected officials might attend to greet concert attendees.
There are three shifts for setup, operation and wrap up. The concert performances run from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Setup begins around 5:30 pm; breakdown starts about 20 minutes before the concert ends.
Concert schedule for 2017:
A rain date may be added on Aug 18.
Framingham DTC members are encouraged to volunteer for at least one concert during the summer.
The concerts are a fun night out, so bring the family too.
